About Us


At The Carrington Conference and Event Center, our mission is to provide a full-service luxury event experience, whether social, corporate, or formal with classic style and sophistication as the setting. With customizable event space for 10 - 700 guests in our contemporary ballroom, multipurpose room, lounge, suites and delectable catering, we offer an event experience like none other in gorgeous Prince George’s County, Maryland. Just five minutes off of the 495/Beltway, The Carrington is located in St. Paul Towne Centre, has ample parking for guests, a full catering kitchen, and an atmosphere of intricacy showcased throughout the 16,000 square feet available for rental.

Our upscale event spaces were designed to fit the needs of all guests and to provide a clean-cut, contemporary, and configurable venue.  In addition to weddings and banquets, we have the capability to host proms, award ceremonies, corporate training, breakfast meetings, board meetings, memorial services, anniversary celebrations, baby showers, birthday parties, galas, and any other celebration you can imagine. Tours are scheduled by appointment only and available by submitting a request via the Contact Us page.

WEDDINGS

With the option to host your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception on-site, our ballrooms can accommodate weddings of any size or cultural tradition. Your guests will be in awe of the modern elegance, accommodating staff, and seamless flow of your special day. Our wedding rental includes both The Mary and The Philip suites to aide in wedding prep (makeup & hair) or just a place to relax before your nuptials. We can make your day memorable and stress free!

SOCIAL

The Carrington is the perfect venue to host your gathering or special celebration.  We cater to all types of social events such as adult or kid birthday parties, cocktail parties, anniversary celebrations, baby or bridal showers, etc. The Carolyn Multipurpose Room, Cocktail Lounge, and The Mary or Philip suites are available for hourly rental. You have the option to make these rooms your own and we’ll take care of the tables and chairs. We look forward to hosting your guests in one of our six rental spaces!

Offering various space setups, a house sound system, and audio visual equipment, we are equipped to handle company office meetings, holiday parties, awards ceremonies, trainings, seminars, etc. The ballroom can accommodate conferences or expos, while The Carolyn Multipurpose Room is perfect for intimate meetings and seminars. Our professional staff will provide unparalleled customer service, configurable rooms, and breakfast, lunch or dinner menus to aide in making your event successful.
